Residency at Cocuna - every Thursday night

Now there's an even better reason to rock up to Langstrasse on a Thursday night - which is the brand spanking new CounterSound residency at Cocuna bar. This new venue is right across the street from Long Street bar and starting on the 27th November CounterSound will be rocking your world every week with Zurich's finest DJs and special guests from out-of-town. For any of you who are stuck at home and can't make it down, our good friends at SoundCity will be streaming every event live on www.soundcity.ch

The Cocuna is a small but sweet venue and is the perfect place to create a great atmosphere where we can all relax and enjoy good drinks to great sound, so we're very excited about this project and really hoping to see all of you down there for some good times.

DJ Knox and The Passive Resistance will be playing with Erick Morillo, Marco Carola and a whole bunch of other excellent dj's and producers from all over South America at this year's South American Music Conference (SAMC) events in Ecuador and Panama.

The GLÜCKLICH-Team presents its second event at Pfingstweidstrasse 12 in Zurich. The party starts at 23:00 h and has a terrific line-up: Rino, Bang Goes, Betty & Ford, Lexx, Ajele, Nico and Plus.

 

12th Sept 2007 - SAMC 2007

For a second straight year, CounterSound will be present at the South American Music Conference (SAMC), Ecuador. Taking place on the 9th of November, The Passive Resistance and DJ Knox will be ripping up the dancefloor and infusing some dirty European style for all those present.

29th May 2007 - DJ Knox joins CounterSound

One of Zurich's finest underground DJs, Nico Delis alias DJ Knox, today joined the CounterSound family as the labels lead DJ.
Looking back on an already stellar career, the future can only get brighter with the partnership of DJ Knox and CounterSound.
Public beware : a lot of rocking nights lie ahead !

 

12th May 2007 - The Passive Resistance wins best electronic act at the M4Music annual awards.

Even amongst hundreds of entries, the jury couldn't help but to be blown away by Passive's "arrogant and testosterone filled, dirty sound".
"this is the kind of sound that i wish I'd hear in clubs more often" said Zwicker, one of the four panel members. Big up !
